In an Introductory Group Session we focus on one specific memory or event that still carries emotional weight.
Â
Rather than trying to work on everything at once, we gently help your system process that one experience differently.
Â
The goal is for the memory to begin to feel lighter, calmer, and easier to hold.
Â
In this session, I use the MAP Method, a neuroscience-based approach that works with the subconscious brain to help update how that memory is held in your system.
Â
This session is a simple, supportive way to experience this work for yourself and see whether it resonates. Many people notice the emotional intensity around that memory begin to soften — or even completely neutralize.
Â
This isn’t about retelling your story over and over.
Â
It’s about helping your system process that experience differently, so you can remember what happened without the same emotional reaction in your mind and body.
What to Expect
This session is designed to be a simple first experience of the work — so you can step in feeling informed, at ease, and under no pressure to share.
-
We meet live on Zoom for 90 minutes in a small group setting.
Â
-
The session begins with a brief and essential orientation, so you’ll know exactly how it works before we begin.
Â
-
You’ll bring one specific memory or event you’d like to work on.
Â
-
You do not need to tell the group what happened.
Â
-
I’ll guide the process step by step while you follow along privately from your own space.
Â
-
You’re welcome to keep your camera off.
Â
-
Brief feedback or check-ins happen through the chatbox only.
Â
-
This is a live session and there is no replay.
Imagine if you...
Â
-
Could remember a painful experience without the same emotional reaction
Â
-
Found yourself hardly thinking about it anymore
Â
-
Noticed your body felt calmer when that memory came to mind
Â
-
Had more space to think and breathe, instead of feeling so overwhelmed
Â
-
Tried this work in a simple, supportive setting before deciding whether to go deeper
“I’m emotionally lighter. I don’t feel so heavy in my mind, so pessimistic, so angry.
There are different layers that are peeling off, causing me to feel a lot lighter.
I just don’t feel as emotionally bogged down as I used to.”
~Cynthia
Well, before, if I got triggered, I would get really angry. It was almost like PTSD.
But it doesn’t affect me now!
I’m not triggered by those memories anymore. Â
Â
~Joan
“I’ve been feeling really grounded, happy, and peaceful.
This approach has pulled off a big layer of things that I couldn’t work through on my own.
They were holding me back — and now it’s being pulled off. So it’s really nice!”Â
~Margo
Why working with one memory can create real relief
1. Emotional reactions are often tied to specific experiences.
When something meaningful or painful happens, the mind and body can store that moment with a strong emotional response.
Â
2. That response can stay active long after the event is over.
Even if you understand what happened, your system may still react the same way when the memory - or a similar situation - comes up.
Â
3. When the memory is processed differently, the reaction can change.
Through gentle neural retraining, your system can update how that experience is held, so the memory begins to feel calmer and easier to carry.
